This is an acrylic painting of a girl and her Yeti sitting viewing Mount of the Holy Cross, and Bowl of Tears lake. Mt. of the Holy Cross is one of my favorite 14er peaks, simply because it's such a long, journey-like hike and so incredibly beautiful. Holy Cross is just outside of Minturn, Colorado. I was hoping to make a series of classic Colorado scenes with a Yeti present. I will try to paint more when I have time.

Thanks! That's awesome, I was sad that the access road to the Half Moon Pass route was closed this year :(

yeah that was too bad. The record snows made for great snowy cross conditions late into the season which was great for photography
